Through a number of case studies, this study examines the impact and application of active reception communication and teamwork in event organizer contexts. Participatory observation, documentation analysis, and semi-structured interviews with ten event organizers were used to gather empirical material using qualitative research methods. Through three main mechanisms—foundational influence on team dynamics, communication as a two way confitmation and reminder, and expression of emotion—the results show that active reception communication has a significant impact on event management success. Core communication techniques, methodical approaches to problem-solving, strategic technology integration, and structured interaction patterns are just a few of the advanced implementation strategies that event planners have created. Multiple stakeholders with different communication styles increase the risk of miscommunication, according to the study, necessitating proactive mediation procedures and organized monitoring systems. By pinpointing particular strategies event planners employ to improve teamwork, these results expand on Carl Rogers' theory of active reception communication. Active reception communication serves as a preventive and remedial organizational tool, which is crucial for preserving operational effectiveness and stakeholder satisfaction in dynamic event environments. This research adds to the body of knowledge on event management. |
