This paper explores the potential impact of extreme weather events on tourism Micro, Small and Medium Entreprises (MSMEs) on Untung Jawa Island, located in Pulau Seribu, DKI Jakarta Province, Indonesia. Small island destinations reliant on coastal tourism are particularly vulnerable to the climate change effects such as rising sea levels, increased storm intensity, coastal erosion, and biodiversity disruptions. The study identifies key vulnerabilities faced by tourism MSMEs, including infrastructure damage, loss of income, disruption of activities, and negative destination preception. It also duscusses challenges sucvh as reliance on natural tourism and limited resources, and p[roposeds strategies for resilience, adaptation, and sustainable development. |
