Isi artikelRecently there has been an intensive discussion on the U.S. Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) scheme in Indonesia. Indonesia is one of several countries whose continued access to benefits under the U.S. GSP would remain under review because of problems around their labor practices. This paper discusses the background of the U.S. tariff privileges under the GSP scheme for Indonesia and the recent trade position between the U.S. and Indonesia under the U.S. GSP scheme. I also reviews and comments on results if the analysis for Indonesian non-oil and gas export strategy in the future.
