Nowadays one crucial problem faced by Indonesian people is the energy crisis, where every year the needs and the prices of fuel and LPG continues to increase. To eliminate this problem, we are trying to do the workshop in Cisarua village, Sukabumi. The aim is to find the alternative to replace the fuel and LPG. One of the alternatives is brisquette which can be used for daily household needs. The material used here is hull of rice, dried rice stalks, and starch. The results concludes that the briquettes as the alternative source of energy must be developed not only from agricultural waste but also waste from animal husbandry as well since it is the primary products from that village. However, there are still several difficulties found in producing the briquettes, such as raw material procurement, manufacturing processes, financing, and marketing. We conclude that the use of briquettes has a good economic value for the community, and has also good prospects if we develop it by considering some aspects of the feasibility and more wisdom project.
