Digital technology has a great role of expanding the concept of modernity and globalization. Unfortunatelly, sometimes modernity buries the local knowledge, which is the guide of harmony to maintain the positive relationship between human and the environment. The case study of Javanese Vernacular Architecture is one example of how the local knowledge is almost extinct between current generations. In other side, digital technology also gives the opportunities of conserving the local knowledge. Digital tools can accommodate digital documentations and visualize them so it becomes a complete sources and learning facilities. The projected impact of this research will be the conservation of existing knowledge (focused on Javanese Vernacular Architecture) and provide the joy of learning the content via online and interactive media.
