This research was divided into two sections. It was done in two years. In the first year, we made the spectrophotometer system that was used to measure caffeine and paracetamol concentration manually. In the second year, we made the automation of the system based on manual method to measure the compound concentration. The spectrophotometer automation consists of autosampler, automation of monochromatic wavelength, data acquisition and calculating of sample concentration. The sample contains mixture of KMnO4 and K2Cr2O7. The result of the first year research is the system can detect the caffeine and paracetamol absorbance. The linearity level of caffeine is 0.991 and paracetamol is 0.992. In the second year, system spectrophotometer can measure the sample concentration automatically as the manual method. the PC software can also calculate the two compound concentration simultaneously.
