Many management decisions involve trying to make the most effective use of the organization's resources. To help managers in planning and decision making relative to resource allocation, Linear Programming has been designed using mathematical techniques. However when one searches integer values for decision variables using Linear Programmong, one or more of the decision variables might not take on an integer value in the final solution. This paper is an attempt to introduce Integer Programming, a branch of Linear Programming, which is capable of undertaking, variabels having integer values due to the use of algorithms. of the many algorithms used in Integer Programming the Branch and Bound algorithm is the one favored by practitioners.
