Political reform should create a clean government, free of corruption and nepotism, but in reality it does not in Indonesia. When polticals only for power and wealth, there will be a major problem in a country, in Indonesia today, the members of the Executive, Legislature and Judiciary are more concerned with "what can be stolen from the country", no "what can you give to the country", they prioritizing themselves and their group rather than promote social welfare. In Indonesia, corruption expansion exacty happened under a democratic system. In fact, political democratization makes a neoliberal economic policy. This phenomenon providers an opportunity for corrupt practices for the benefit of investors in the competition. Expansion of corruption in politics and government can make a bad political system, because corruption can undermine the political system. To eradicate corruption, political institutions have to work on a political platform based on ethics, which is a commitment to ensure justice to the welfare of society.
