The urgent need for infrastructure to sustain rapid economic growth can no longer disputable. The main constraint is on land acquisition. This study tries to answer what policy issues that might be the cause of the slow development of infrastructure in Indonesia. The analysis was conducted using a qualitative descriptive analytical approach. The data and information was obtained trough documents and literature review. The results suggest that the policy constraints are rooted in the policy. In addition, the issue of land pricing compensation which is often the major problem, is apparently caused by the selection process of the Land Procurement Committee that is considered as not independent.
