Hospital by laws or hospital statute defines as internal legislation and self - imposed rules to refulte conduct. They provide the legal and managerial framework, by which the hospital intends to achieve its objectives. They regulate the conduct of three main pillars of hospital viz. Governing body, chief executive officer, and medical staff. There three parties hold different powers which are being balanced and harmonised by internal regulation in order to maintain function, authority and responsibility of each other. Principally the internal regulation has addressed to choice good corporate and good clinical governance within the hospital.
