Examination of a heart patient by using a stetoscope and ECG is not sufficient to determine a heart problem early, only 15% of the patients with corronary heart problems shows an abnormal ECG. The use of Systolic Time Interva (STI) can help diagnose a chronically as well as acutely ischemic heart disease and determine aprognosis on chest pains, both specific and non specific. The research for the present paper was conducted on thirty two healthy adults to obtain preliminary data on the normal value of the STI in Indonesia.
