Coffee and tea are types of drinks with a high level of consumption as seen from the amount of coffee consumption which can reach up to 5 million bags and the amount of tea consumption around 105.000 tons per year. coffee leaves are a form of waste product, which can be used to make coffee leaf tea. Coffee-leaf tea is stated to contain mangiferin and tannin which function as anti-inflammatories and are able to lower cholesterol levels. Objectives: to analyze the feasibility of the coffee-leaf tea business. Methods: Descriptive research. Data collection was carried out by doing surveys, observations, interviews, and documentation. The data source used is the primary data source. SWOT, Five Forces Porter, NPV, Marketing mix, and payback period methods are used as analysis tools. Results: The tea industry is really attractive to enter because it has business opportunities and high market demand potential. DiHaTea has a competitive advantage in competing in the tea industry. Business feasibility analysis from the financial aspect result is the net present value of the DiHaTea business is Rp. 15,285,141 which the NPV value is greater than 0. The payback period of the DiHaTea business is 1 year and 8 months. Conclusion: The Most popular product of DiHaTea is coffee-leaf tea with a blueberry flavor variant. Based on the business feasibility analysis results, DiHaTea’s business is declared feasible to run. |
