This certainly affects economic policy in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the ratification of the Paris Agreement by Indonesia and its effect on Indonesia's economic policy. This research is an empirical juridical or socio-legal research, which is analyzed with the approach of law and economics. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Paris Agreement by Indonesia in the 2016-2020 period has not met the expected target, which can be seen from the absence of a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions due to the increasing volume of exports and the use of coal in Indonesia. The lack of harmonization between environmental policies and economic policies is one of the root causes of the failure to achieve the target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Indonesia. In other words, the implementation of the ratification of the Paris Agreement by Indonesia has not been in line with economic policies in Indonesia.
