Foreign elements in the ear, nose or throat are found daily, especially among children who are curious about new things aroung them. A child with a constant cold is often treated with cold medicines without our realizing that the cause is a foreign element in his nose. Someone with a sudden pain in his ear is often thought of having an insect bith whereas the real cause may be an infection spreading from the upper part of the respiratory tract (Otitis Media Acuta). When people have a fish bone stuck in their throat, we need not examine all and every corner of the throat, we ca do indirect laryngoscopy capsules, or big tablets need not cause alarm since they melt naturally.
