Abstract
Initial Public Offering is one of various common practices enterprise performed to gain fresh capital from the market, the capitals will be used to run and expand their business, pay off their debts, and many more. Beside the benefit the enterprise gained from selling the stocks, investor also could gain benefit by buying Initial Public Offering (IPO) Stocks at lower offering price at primary market and sell at the higher closing price at the secondary markets. The profitable gain investors acquired called an underpricing. Underpricing is influenced by several factors such as Auditor Reputation, Underwriter Reputation, Return on Asset, Debt of Equity Ratio, Firm Size and Firm Age. 156 samples of companies were used. The technical of collecting samples using Purposive Sampling Method. The data analyzed using multiple linear regression. Based on the results of data analysis, Partially Debt to Equity Ratio had significantly positive effect on underpricing, while Underwriter Reputation, Auditor Reputation, Return on Asset, Firm Size, Firm Age had no effect on underpricing. Simultaneously, Debt to Equity Ratio had positive effect on Underpricing while, Underwriter Reputation, Auditor Reputation, Return on Asset, Firm Size and Firm Age had negative effect on Underpricing.
