| This study would like to investigate students’ perception on the online English Club in improving the English speaking skill. Speaking in English is very important; and in fact, it is considered as a benchmark of the English competence. The aspects of speaking English, namely, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, and pronunciation would be the basis of the perception. This study involved 30 members of Online English Club in SMAK Mater Dei Pamulang from Grade 11 and Grade 12. The instruments used in this research were a questionnaire and interview. The students’ perception is calculated from the mean value ( x ¯ ) of their responses to the questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that students perceive that the Online English Club improves their English speaking skill. |
