The importance of management in a garment company demands drastic improvement in the existing methodology of quality assurance. A quality management system (QMS) is a mechanism or a work procedure to ensure a consistently high quality of the product. There is a need to develop such a system for the sustainable development. The authors report a research result in collaboration of fourteen factories member of garment company belong to Garco 10 Corporation to develop a QMS model for the garment company; This research result is making efforts to introduce and promote this QMS model in product garment system. This paper describes the QMS model and details its application for sustainable development. We also discuss the significance of the system and future issues.
