Isi artikel
This paper introduced a new analysis technique, known as reversed hypothesis test. This method was developed to enhance the Shainin’s paired comparison and the Bhote/Shainin’s product/process search. It consists of three important steps as follow: (1) Collect data from the good and the bad groups including the suspected variables (2) Use t-test, F-test, ANOVA or non-parametric tests as the tools to screen and identify the significant variables and (3) Draw the scatter or matrix plot between the significant variables of the good and the bad parts and determine the specification for the significant variables. Various case studies were shown to illustrate how reversed hypothesis was effectively applied to solve quality problem in SCG
