Isi artikel4LB is a 4 layer bandaging method for patients with chronic venous leg ulcers, kept in place for one week to allow adequate wound healing. The ulcers take years to heal and patients are often conscious of and embarrassed by the foul smell from the wound. Our project reviews the wound care and management process with the objective to train and empower our patients in shared care so as to improve outcomes and comfort. By engaging our patients, they enjoy better hygiene and comfort and also regain their self esteem, dignity and independence.
