This study is on the brief comment of the relationship between 6 Sigma and QCC in TQM category. 6 Sigma Model has begun 1986 in USA and incorporated into Korea in mid-1990s. It has been widely used in the big companies like Samsung Group and LG Group in Korea now, and showed high performances. In spite of it, 6 Sigma Model is not so much widely diffused into many midium and small companies as large companies, and yet on the hot discussion about the appropriateness of the model to the Korean medium and small companies. In Japan, the 6 Sigma Model has not so widly used as in Korea in many aspects. In this paper, we will discuss briefly the reasons of this problem, and discuss the relationship between the 6 Sigma Model and QCC which is widely used in Korea and Japan in the scope and the contents in addition to the characteristics of the two system.
