The development of medical technology has rapidly generated high-performance medical devices. However, such devices have also lead to procedures and operations becoming more complicated; device misuse has increased. As some medical devices are invasive to the patient's body, and some can maintain a patient's life, medical device misuse may be directly related to serious accidents. Therefore, it is important to be able to predict medical equipment misuse so that accident-prevention measures can be successfully applied. In this paper, we demonstrate the mechanism of medical device failure and propose a method for effective measures to prevent misuse.
