To lower the error rate on toll collection of expressway is a problem that the expressway operation will face with and will be necessary to settle. With all the wits, the team focused on this subject, used all kinds of ways and tools of QC Team and PDCA procedure, and eventually achieved the result by joint efforts. In the activity, the team determined the target value scientifically; applied systematic graphic tools, and resolved layer by layer and found out the original factors that affect the error rate; it used methods, such as Survey, Data Statistics and On-site Measurements to identify the main factors; made a detailed and feasible countermeasures list after identified the main factors; it implemented the items one by one by specially-assigned persons, who would give feedbacks on the result of the inspection from time to time; it formed a solidified system, and reinforced the performance of implementation. After finishing the whole PDCA procedure, this activity of the team reduced the error rate of toll collection down to the target value. This report has also provided a solution way to such problem.
