In this modern era, most people depend on technology because technology helps and eases everyone who does their activities. Technology has a big impact on various occupations, especially in the education field. With highly advanced technology, various platforms or websites have been created as a forum to assist learning and teaching activities online and now there are lots of online learning platforms. Google Classroom is one example of an online learning platform. The aims of this research is to find out how Google Classroom is applied and students' perceptions about the use of Google Classroom in the Media ICT class at Atma Jaya University. The researchers used qualitative and quantitative methods using a list of questions and questionnaires developed by Shaharanee et.al (2016) as a data collection instrument. The results show that google classroom is used in the classroom as a medium for sharing syllabus, materials, assignments and grading student assignments. In addition, the results of this study also show that students have a positive perception of the use of Google Classroom in ICT media class. Positive perception shows that students agree that Google Classroom is easy to access and help them in sending or submitting the assignments and receiving assignments that are given by the lecturers. |
