Immunization is the primary prevention efforts and a process whereby a person is made immune or resistant to an infectious disease, typically by the administration of a vaccine. Vaccines stimulate the body's own immune system to protect the person against subsequent infection or disease and it's a basic need for all children. To support that program, the mother's participation as a closest person, is necessary needed. The aim of the research is to know correlation between the level of mother's knowledge about immunization with the completion of basic immunization among children under five years old at Posyandu Melati, in Puskesmas Lagoa sub-district, North Jakarta. A cross sectional study design with simple random sampling method uses in this research. Data was analyzed with Chi-square test. The respondent were 186 mothers who have child aged 1-5 years old at the Posyandu Melati RW 004. The primary data taken from questionnaire and documentation immunization of the children on their health card (KMS). The results of this research showed that 57.5% children have completed their basic immunizations. Most mother's had a good knowledge on basic immunization (52.2%). The result of the analysis showed there was a significant correlation between the level of the mother's knowledge about immunization and a complete basic immunization (p=0.000). It is suggested for Puskesmas Lagoa to increase mother's knowledge about the basic immunization for child through public counseling about immunization and upgrading quality of healthy service toward the people especially for basic immunization for children
