Isi artikelIn this brief article, we respond to some specific issues raised in fishbein and middlestadt's (F & M's, 1995) article. We suggest that F & M's perpective is inconsistent with current research findings, and we focus on examining how various moderator variables may influence the processes of attitude formation and change. Next, we discuss the links between theory and measurement and issue that we feel need to be prioritized in this area in the light of F & M's comments.
