The robot is a tool that can mimic the activities carried out by humans. One activity that can be done by the robot is to take a tennis ball. For that purpose a sensor that could be used to know the circumstances around it and the most ideal sensor camera. This is because vision sensor can provide useful information to recognize surrounding objects. In addition, for the robot to act in accordance with the existing circumstances. The main objective of this research is to design and build autonomous robots based on ATmega16, which can detect the ball and bring to the sidelines. The robot will be equipped with CMUcam which will act as visual sensor. These sensor combined with other control systems to make the robot can process the image, making the robot can recognize the existing objects. Programs that are written into the microcontroller using C language.
