Isi artikelProfessional ability to understand and be sensitive to ethical issues was also influenced by gender. Knowledge, understanding and skills of accounting students in the field of ethics must be pursued and intensified in order to avoid violations of ethics in the accounting field. this study examine differences in ethical sensitivity of accounting students on public accountants ethics was based on gender differences. The sampling technique using convenience sampling methods. primary research data is a result of the questionnaire distributed to accounting students. the respondents were male and female students. Students who participate in this research are 316 respondents from five universities and a school of economics in Palembang. To test the hypothesis used compare mean analysis. The results showed support the hypothesis. Thus we can conclude that there are differences in ethical sensitivity of male and female accounting students on the ethics of public accountants.
