The education in Indonesia has undergone various changes in policy made by the govemment. Old policies are not accommodating replaced with new policies that can adapt to the demands and needs. The objective of the paper is to investigate the study of economic science education that is expected to bring changes in education to create students as agents of development. The method used in this writing is descriptive analytical. It can be concluded that manpower planning is supported by economics-oriented education on improving the quality of human resources is a good option that should be developed
