As in other systems, news and entertainments magAzines in responding external pressure, conduct a process of spontaneus reorganization. This attitude is marked by revolutionizing in activities attempting fo maintain a higher self reliant in life in a changing environment. In Indonesia, the process of spontaneus internal reorganization in the,news and entertainment magazines is marked by the phenomena of publishing magazines which satisfy more specific segments, publishing franchise magazines which satisfy limited segment of readership, renewing editing and lay-out, improving the quality of printing, carrying out various off print activities, introducing the concept of multi platform marketing and monopolizing ownership enjoyed merely by some press institutes through integration, diversification and internationalization. This metamorphosic tendency is caused by the complex inter action of important needs, competitive and political pressures as well as social and technological innovation.
