Thirty metaphorical expressions in question from 3 English conceptual metaphors namely LOVE IS A JOURNEY, IDEAS ARE FOOD, and LIFE IS A GAMBLING GAME in context were tested to both control and treatment group in order to test their awareness of metaphorical expressions in question. L1 and L2 conceptual metaphors were coupled during the treatment to bridge the process of acquiring the framework of English conceptual metaphors better.
