Isolation of flavonids from the Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides Lmk. herb (law marshpennywort) have been done using preparative thin layer chromatography (preparative TLC). The putiry of the flavonoid isolates were checked by multi eluents TLC. This procedure commonly done by many researches to identify the hydroxilation of flavonoid isolates. According to this procedure, four isolates of flavonoid from the methanolic extract of H. sibthorpioides herb are pure which have the spectra characteristic of flavonoid structure. Rutin used as standard of flavonoid in this research.
