Isi artikel
proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controllers are still widely used in various industrial sectors, because the ability to handle the existing problems in the industry, but there is a lack of tuning methods, the process of tuning to be done in a trial and error. More tuning procedure was done manually by trial and error method is not necessarily true, to overcome the problem required an alternative approach that can achive a level of automation of the process of tuning and the tuning process does not need to have extensive knowledge about the system settings. In this case the alternative method used is Genetic Algorithm (GA). GA implemented for a combination of parameters P, I, and D of the PID controller in simulation speed regulation three-phase induction motor that the motor speed can be maintained to match the reference speed in the steady-state. Results of the simulation conducted shows the resulting velocity respons good.
