Isi artikel
This study represents an attempt to assess whether or not self-report measures of personality, motivation, and marriage dimensions significantly predict actual behaviors. Ninety-four graduate student couples acted as subjects and all were given the Marriage Role Questionnaire (MRQ), the Sixteen Personality Factor Test (16 PF), and the Motivation Analysis Test (MAT). Results indicated that for each of the eight "life data" criteria considered, significant prediction was possible from the personality, motivation, or marriage role variables. Analyses were conducted separately for husbands and wives.
