Isi artikelThe purpose of this study is to echo the existence of literature. For this reason, the writer studies the existence of literature from the viewpoint of theology so that it seems prestigious in the eyes of society. The theology study on literary works can be assisted by analogy method, a methodology of philosophy. So, there are three theories used; the theory of analogy in philosophy, theory of literary genre in literature, and theory of attributes of God in theology. Results of study on novel shows that authors of novel use the pattern that has already patterned by God in writing life story. God, in this case, created the characters and their roles and also implied moral messages lied behind the life story. In this way the author tells the story. God, in conveying His Holy Books, used model of poetry, drama, and prose. In this case, consider Al-Qur'an (holy book of Moslems). In the book, God often uses the pattern of dialogue between characters, such as a prophet with his people. God also often uses pattern of prose and uses perfect rhyme and rhythm in charming poems in the most part of the Book’s content. The conclusion can be drawn is that God had composed literature before human did. Thus, the literature delivers God's teachings. If a man composes literary works, it means he imitates God, whether it is realized or not.
