Isi artikelThis study is concerned with the differences in perception of the working wife that exist between Negro and white adult males. Data were gathered from a random sample of households in Breyard county, Florida in 1967. The sample consists of 67 Negro males and 565 white males. The data suggest that there are marked differences between Negro and white males in their perception of the working wife, her relationship to her husband, and her relationship to her husband's career. The additional use of socioeconomic status and age as test variables does not materially change the differences found between the races.
