Isi artikel
Little attention has been given to the potential effectiveness of birth control programs for sexually active adolescents. This study examines the sexual patterns, reactions to pregnancy, and birth control experience, knowledge, and attitudes of a sample of teen-age girls expecting the first illegitimate child. The findings suggest that the majority of these adolescents would use birth control if it is made accessible and if they are provided with assurance that the contraceptive methods are safe and effective.
