Methods : A descriptive analytic study with a cross-sectional design in 110 stroke patients using secondary data from the Stroke Registry and medical records at Atma Jaya Hospital for the period of January 2016 to December 2017. The data were analyzed using Chi-Square. Results : The bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between changes in Barthel Index ADL score and the severity of stroke (p=0.008), side affected by stroke (p=0.000), and physiotherapy onset (p=0.039). Conclusions :The severity of the stroke, side of stroke, and the onset of physiotherapy are factors that influence the success of physiotherapy in ischemic stroke patients in the Atma Jaya Hospital. |
