This research is intended to understand and examine the aspects related to Rights and Obligations between Home Workers and Employers which are governed by the ILO (International Labor Organization/”ILO”) Convention No. 177 of 1996 on Housework (“ILO Convention”). Therefore, it can be compared with the National Regulations in the Republic of Indonesia on Manpower, namely Law Number 13 of 2003 (“Manpower Law”). The research objectives is to find the recommendation next step to our government related to ILO Convention considering that the Republic of Indonesia is one of the members of the ILO. The method of this research is a normative juridicative, it means the researcher collects and examines qualitatively all the data related to the research problems, such as legal principles stipulated in ILO Convention, Manpower Law and its implementation regulation.This method will help researcher to understand how far the result can be achieved maximally. Based on this research, the result shows an epiphany where the Labor Regulation in the State of the Republic of Indonesia contains the characteristics of "Home Workers" in the ILO Convention. |
