Abstract
PT. Adiwira Plastik is a manufacturing company that makes products for motor components and automobiles which are made of plastic. The company is required to produce the production process according to the level of standard quality of product. The problem that faced by the company is the system inventory of existing machinery components in the company is less effective because it can not meet the needs. The good inventory system can minimize component inventory costs. Determination of component inventory is done for 1 year to estimate purchase of component cost for the next period. Critical machine calculations can be performed with OEE calculations on each machine. The result of OEE calculation was obtained MC 112 machine on 850 tonnage machine group selected to be critical machine with OEE value of 16.18%. The next step by determining the critical components of the machine is using the pareto principle based on the frequency of component turnover. Selected, 13 critical components that are for the next calculation. The next step is to determine the interval change of component by using the damage distribution test using minitab 15 software and using TTF and TTR data. There are 4 damage distributions can be used, Weibull, Lognormal, Normal, and Exponential. That way can calculate the parameters of each distribution by using the MLE method in minitab 15. The end result obtained the value of the component replacement interval with minimization downtime method. The inventory component calculation uses a comparison of Q and P systems. The Q system used using the basic EOQ method. Selected as Q system as a critical component calculation model with total cost Rp. 321.945.574, - With the selection of critical machines, it is expected that the company can pay attention to the 112 machines and with the selection of existing inventory systems the company can estimate the needs of machine components.
