Abstract
Mulia Jaya Ceramics performs ceramic production process until the production of ceramic floor products to distribute it to the existing ceramic stores to be sold to consumers. Several existing processes or stages of manufacture to the distribution of ceramic products there are still some waste that is left abandoned. The purpose of this study is to determine what costs in the process of making ceramics in SMEs Mulia Jaya which can be reduced to save expenses company. Then also to Know which process that produces the most waste of ceramic manufacturing process of SMEs Mulia Jaya. After that, give priority sequence on each impact of waste that will be generated from the ceramic production process in SMEs Mulia Jaya contained in the green house. Based on the results of data processing it can be seen that the process of making ceramics efficient and durable color ceramics because it has the expected value of satisfaction is of 0.661 and 0.538. Then recycle the waste into the highest technical response with a value of 0.24 while the production process is the stage that produces the most waste with a value of 0.29 as well as the cost of the raw material is the most deductible cost with the highest 4 + 2- value. So Mulia Jaya SMEs need to make many improvements from the manufacturing process to the resulting product.
