Contemporary church hymns are a dilemmatic musical phenomena in several major churches. Controversy rises as a result of the willingness of some people to use them in the liturgy of some christian churches, controversy rises as a result of the willingness of somepeople to use them in the liturgy of some christian churces. On one side, the traditional church song by the contemporary church hymns supporters is judged as too archaic and difficult to be understood. On the other side, the contemporary church hymns for the traditional church hymns supporters is considered as a kind of music that has no quality and too focused on the market. Communication is required to reduce the tension between there two parties. The tension appears since there is no mutual understanding about the role of the traditional and the contemporary church hymns in achieveing the vision of the churches.
