Abstract
PT. Muliaglass is one of the manufacturing company which produced sheet of glasses. The turnover level in PT. Muliaglass Float 3 was low (0%) but one of the problem is the production target, that 88% never been accomplished for about 5 years (2012-2016). The low level of employee performance is influenced by many factors. Based on the first observations, the dominant factors included compensation, workload, and work motivation. The purpose of this research is to measure the level of workload of employees, calculate the number of employee work motivation, and analyze the influence between variables. Measurement of mental workload is used NASA-TLX method, while the measurement of employee motivation level is used JDS method. The data collection is done by using sensus method with a total sample of 183 employees. The data processing was used with SEM method in LISREL 8.70. This research showed that the level of mental workload of employees was high so it is necessary to measure the optimal number of employees. The level of work motivation for employees was high and the employees feel less satisfied with the salaries and wage incentives that provided by the company. Based on the result of hypothesis test that obtained, compensation was positively influenced with work motivation and employees performance. Workload was positively influenced with work motivation, but workload was not influenced directly with employee performance. Work motivation was the most influenced variable with employee performance so PT. Muliaglass Float 3 Division must improve the work motivation for its employee to improve the employee performance.
