Abstract
The development of information systems in the current era helps the business movement of a company with the distribution of data through information systems. Santana snack & catering is a SMEs in the food industry. The business process on the company has data to be integrated by every department of the business, the department is the owner, sales department, production department, logistics department, labor department, and financial department that requires continuous data. The information system is present to assist the company in forming an integrated data stream from each department. The current flow of data or information does not work right now because the company hasn’t sales data that causes the company's revenue data to be unknown, the company only has the data of financial expenditure and the flow of data on the company given from the sales department to the production department only the flow product order data. This causes the company does not know the amount of profit or loss in a certain period because there is no continuity. In solving these problems, then conducted research to design an online business information system in order to create information system integrated for each other. The method used in this research is System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which will identify information needs or data flow by company, designing information system, and construction of information system. Companies need information about revenue, expenses, and profit/loss. The design of this information system based on the function of each department include the function of monitoring, recording, and reporting that have been analyzed based on the needs of each department. This designed information system generates company revenue reports, expense reports, and income statement. This system is tested directly on the company that gives results that the system can run in accordance with the needs of the company, but admins feel difficult because there is no manual guidance or online guidance. Suggestions that can be given for this research and subsequent research is the creation of applications that can be operated through smartphones and the creation of online guides that reside within the system.
