Isi artikelIn the distributed database system, replication is carried out to increase availability of data in order to overcome data failure problems in certain sites and to improve system performance involving the replication as minimum as possible in each transaction. This research aims to study better performance among three algorithms, they are Quorum Consistency, Read One Write All, and Consistency Calculation. A simulation program has been developed to analyze performance of the three algorithms. Based on the number of replication involved in each transaction, it has been shown that Consistency Calculation algorithm generally is better compare with the other two algorithms. In the other hand, if the percentage of reading transaction is greater than 85 percent, Read One Write All algorithm is better.
