Employee is an important element for company, especially for service based business. For school, teacher is like a machine to move vehicle wheels. Therefore, school management should give attention to conditions that support teacher satisfaction. Concern to high number of teacher’s turnover in a private school become the main reason for this research, especially related to role of working satisfaction and organization commitment. The research is conducted with statistical test on regression equation data of respondent samples, chosen by random sampling method from teacher population (N=184) with proportion 50%. Statistical test with level of confidence 5% to sample (n=92) find significant proof influence of indirect intrinsic satisfaction and extrinsic satisfaction to turnover intention through organization commitment. This research concludes that intrinsic satisfaction and extrinsic satisfaction have influence to turnover intention through organization commitment, each -0,177 and -0,228. Both also have influence to organization commitment, each 0,234 (intrinsic satisfaction) and 0,493 (extrinsic satisfaction). With this findings school management hopefully could keep trying various policies to increase working satisfaction and organization commitment, until decrease teacher’s turnover intention. |
