PT. XYZ which is a company that produces spoon, fork, and knife is having a problem in their scheduling system, therefore over times and delays occur so oftenly in their production division. If the problem wont't to be solved, then detriment for company, worker, and customer will increase especially in finance. The recommendation of scheduling system to solve this problem is using Immune Genetic Algorithm. Advantage with using this algorithm is a immune process using vaccine that appropriate with the problems, therefore can give result more quickly, raising fitness, and preventingthe degeration. The best job sequence is choosen based on scheduling criteriorns which are minimize the value of mean flow time and mean tardiness. to finding the scheduling result more quickly and accurately, an application program is built with Visual Studio C# 2005. The collected data for this study case is from demand data in June, 2009, which is value of mean flow time is decreasing by using Immune Genetic Algorithm and eventhough value of mean tardiness is increasing, but when the result of Immune Genetic Algotithm compared with the result of company's scheduling system, the company can reduce their cost . In conclusion, the recommendation of scheduling system proven to give the better result than company's scheduling system.
