Premature rupture of the membranes can cause problems for fetal birth, one of which is neonatal sepsis. METHOD : This research was conducted using observational analytic method, with cross sectional approach. The study sample was pregnant women and their babies admitted to Atma Jaya Hospital and fulfilled inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were analyzed by Chi-Square and Fisher's Exact correlation test with significance level p <0,05. RESULT : Majority of the respondents did not experience premature rupture of membranes (73.5%), the rest experienced premature rupture of membranes (26.5%). Of the total 102 respondents, most neonates didn’t have sepsis (90.2%) and the rest had sepsis(9.8%).
