Loss of concentration could lead to loss of clear mind/thinking and often leads to careless acts. Sleep is a period of rest for body and mind. Sleep deprivation could cause significant decline on concentration. Methods : This study is and experimental study with one group pretest-posttest design. Experimental subjects were recruited from medical students of Atma Jaya University who have filled a questionnaire before. Subject who meet the criteria were then asked to have an enough sleep (7-9 hours) prior to being asked to sleep for only 4 hours the next evening. Stroop test scores were used to assess the ability to concentrate and were taken before and after the intervention. Those two scores were then compared to meet the final conclusion. Results : Sleep deprivation for one night in twenty subjects were found not having significant alteration in Stroop test scores.
