But in reality, medical record often doesn’t meet the requirement of completeness. This study intends to determine the factor of knowledge, doctor’s working motivation, and the effect of reminder to medical record completeness. Method : The study design is cross-sectional. Research began in May 2017 until July 2017. The study was conducted on doctors who work at Policlinic of Atma Jaya Hospital that meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria as respondents in total amounted to 15 respondents. All the respondents fill in the questionaire of knowledge and Work Extrinsic and Intrinsic Motivation Scale. Observation was done to evaluate the completeness of medical records made by respondents during the period of April 15th to June 15th, 2017. Then the data was analyzed by correlation. Results : Among 15 respondents, all has good knowledge about medical record. There are 80% has good working motivation and 20% has no working motivation. Medical records which meet the criteria of completeness is 79.4%. Chi-square test showed no significant association between reminder and the completeness of medical records (p=0.987). Spearman test showed no association between knowledge and the completeness of medical records (r=0.00), also no association between working motivation and the completeness of medical records. Conclusion : Doctors in Atma Jaya hospital has good knowledge about medical recods. Most of them have good working motivation. There is no significant association between reminder and the completeness of medical recods. There is no significant association between doctor’s knowledge and the completeness of medical records.
