TB has a long treatment period. The healing of tuberculosis is influenced by many factors such as, knowledge, patient characteristics, PMO performance, smoking habits, access to medical care, medication obedience, social support and inadequate health services. Objective : Getting a picture of TB disease and factors that affect the recovery of Patients at puskesmas located in Atambua city. Method : The sample of this research are some patients who have been treated for 6 months in 3 puskesmas located in Atambua City taken by random sample. This research used cross sectional design with instrument in the form of questionnaire and medical record. Univariate and bivariate analysis using SPSS version 22 data processing program with Chi Square statistical test at 95% confidence level. Result : A total of 79.5% were included in the group of respondents who recovered TBC. Based on bivariate analysis, it was found that education level (p = 0,007); patient knowledge (p = 0,002); smoking habit (p = 0.04) was associated with the recovery of TB patients. Conclusion : all of respondents 79.5% of patients recovered TBC. Factors associated with the recovery of TB patients are the level of education, patient knowledge, and smoking habits.
